Bombay HC puts stay on turning Bandra's Neville D'Souza ground into convention center
On Thursday, the Bombay High Court stopped the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation from moving forward with its proposal to transform the Neville D'Souza football field in Bandra into an exhibition and convention space. The court ordered the municipal authority to pause all activities regarding the project until the upcoming hearing scheduled for September 18. During the proceedings, the High Court questioned the civic body, asking where the public is expected to play football.
