Briahna O'Neill, a former software manager at Wisk Aero, has launched a lawsuit against the Boeing subsidiary, claiming she was let go for reporting safety issues. According to the legal filing in Santa Clara Superior Court, O'Neill alleges that the company's engineers bypassed software testing required by the FAA to ensure they hit a 2025 deadline for test flights. She stated that she filed two internal reports highlighting these safety risks prior to being fired.
