Blue Cloud Softech shares jump 30% after investors mistake deal partner for Elon Musk's SpaceX
Shares of the Hyderabad-headquartered Blue Cloud Softech Solutions climbed almost 31% over two trading days. This rally occurred after investors incorrectly associated a $150-million (₹1,430-crore) agreement signed by the company's US subsidiary with Elon Musk’s aerospace firm, SpaceX. In reality, the partner is SpaceX International, a company registered in Malaysia that is unrelated to Musk’s business. The stock had previously risen 16% on Monday immediately following the news of the contract.
