BJP replaces Bankipur by-poll candidate, Abhishek Kumar Sinha steps down
On Friday, BJP leader Abhishek Kumar Sinha pulled out of the Bihar Bankipur Assembly by-election, pointing to personal family matters. He confirmed, however, that he remains committed to the party as a dedicated worker. In his place, the BJP has announced Neeraj Kumar Sinha as the new nominee for the seat. The Bankipur constituency is also seeing a contest from Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor.
