BJP leader's roadshow leads to traffic snarls, many UP TET candidates miss exam

A number of candidates appearing for the UP Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) reportedly could not reach their centers on time after getting trapped in a massive traffic jam in Badaun. The congestion was triggered by a roadshow held by BJP state Vice-President Durvijay Singh Shakya, which allegedly involved a procession of hundreds of vehicles. Badaun MP and SP leader Aditya Yadav criticized the situation, stating that political rallies should not be permitted on dates when major competitive exams are scheduled.
