BJP leader proposes new Amarnath Yatra path via Ladakh
BJP leader Tashi Gyalson has proposed opening a third route for the Amarnath Yatra starting from Drass in Ladakh. Currently, pilgrims use two established paths: one through Pahalgam and the other via Baltal. Gyalson stated that they are currently finalizing the specifics, noting that this would be the shortest and safest way to reach the holy site. The proposed trek from Drass is estimated to be approximately 5 km long.
