Biometric machines at Delhi government offices damaged by water after surprise checks
Biometric attendance systems at Delhi government offices are malfunctioning due to water damage. This follows surprise inspections conducted by CM Rekha Gupta in April, where she discovered several employees were absent during office hours. Since there are no water pipes near the devices, it is suspected that water was intentionally poured on them. In response, the Social Welfare department has mandated that CCTV cameras be installed to monitor these attendance machines.
