Bikaner artist crafts oil paintings with shaving blades
Mona Sardar Doodi, an artist based in Bikaner, Rajasthan, produces oil paintings by using shaving blades across different surfaces like wood, paper, and cloth. Doodi initially developed this approach while he was a student to cope with the expensive nature of traditional art materials, and he refers to this style as the 'Kurechan method'. Over time, he has produced thousands of artworks, which includes 5,000 depictions of Lord Krishna created through this unique technique.
