Authorities in Bihar have issued a high alert following flash floods in the Rasuwa district of northern Nepal, which led to a sudden rise in the Gandak River near Bagaha in West Champaran. The disaster has resulted in at least eight deaths in Nepal, and 105 Indian citizens are currently unaccounted for.
