Bihar CM reveals ₹70,000 crore plan to extend Marine Drive by 126 km
On Sunday, Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary unveiled a significant expansion for the state's Marine Drive. The proposal includes building a 126-kilometre stretch along the Ganga River, starting from Koilwar on the Son River. The total project cost is projected at ₹70,000 crore, which will be funded through a ₹20,000 crore government contribution and ₹50,000 crore from private investors. The existing Marine Drive currently covers a distance of approximately 21 kilometres.
