Bihar: 9 deaths reported due to lightning in one day
According to officials on Tuesday, lightning strikes across three districts in Bihar claimed the lives of at least nine individuals over the past 24 hours. An official announcement confirmed that the state government will provide compensation of ₹4 lakh to the families of each victim. Among those who died were three women from the same family in the Banka district.
