Bengaluru's KR Market to install toll gates to prevent revenue loss
To boost transparency and stop revenue loss, the BBMP is setting up toll gates at the four main entrances of KR Market in Bengaluru. Under this new plan, agents, traders, and middlemen will be charged fees for their vehicles and goods depending on the load. However, farmers who bring their own produce will not have to pay the entry fee, provided they present their RTC documents. Officials anticipate that this initiative will increase daily earnings to more than ₹10,000.
