Bengaluru removes 4,000 tonnes of debris in five-day drive
During the first five days of August, the Bengaluru North City Corporation (BNCC) managed to clear approximately 2,500 tonnes of construction and demolition debris, while the Bengaluru South City Corporation (BSCC) removed nearly 1,500 tonnes. This city-wide sanitation effort is tied to the 'Freedom from Waste' initiative that began on August 1. According to the BSCC, they processed 637 individual requests for debris removal via the 'Clear It' mobile application.
