Bengaluru allows restaurants to stay open until 3:30 am for FIFA World Cup matches
In anticipation of the FIFA World Cup 2026 semifinal and final games, the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner has pushed back the closing time for eateries and restaurants from 1 am to 3:30 am. This extension applies to July 14, 15, and 19. According to Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar, the move was approved after the National Restaurant Association of India submitted a formal request.
