Director Gurinder Chadha revealed last year that the 2002 movie ‘Bend It Like Beckham’ holds the unique distinction of being the only film ever distributed in every nation globally, North Korea included. The movie made its debut in North Korea during the 2004 Pyongyang International Film Festival and was later broadcast across the country on state television in 2010.
