Beed: Woman ends life following dowry demands and infertility taunts
A 22-year-old woman named Vaishnavi from Beed has died by suicide. Reports indicate she was subjected to harassment regarding her infertility and persistent demands for a ₹10 lakh dowry to purchase a Scorpio vehicle. According to police, she ingested poison on August 27 and passed away while undergoing medical care at a hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on August 28. Authorities have taken her husband into custody.
