BBMP persists with sidewalk clearance, plans vendor relocation
For the second consecutive day, the BBMP carried on with its initiative to clear footpaths throughout Bengaluru, dismantling unauthorized stalls, shops, and various obstructions along key thoroughfares. According to the municipal corporation, street vendors are set to be moved to interior streets. Upcoming stages of the operation will focus on removing discarded vehicles and illegal ramps on sidewalks to enhance safety and ease of movement for pedestrians citywide.
