Banned fertility drug detected in Asian Games athlete Abhishek Pal's sample
According to a PTI report, long-distance runner Abhishek Pal, who is set to compete in the Asian Games, has received a notice from NADA following the discovery of a prohibited substance in his test sample. The athlete's blood work revealed traces of clomiphene, which is typically used for treating infertility in women. Pal, who was named to the squad for the 5000m and 10,000m events, has not yet faced a provisional suspension from the anti-doping agency.
