Mohammad Shariful Islam, a citizen of Bangladesh facing charges for allegedly stabbing actor Saif Ali Khan multiple times at his residence in Mumbai in January 2025, has filed a plea to admit his guilt while asking for a lighter sentence. He is presently being held in judicial custody. The court has directed the prosecution to provide a response regarding his request and has scheduled the next hearing for September 11.
