Aviation fuel price hike hits IndiGo and SpiceJet stocks

On Tuesday, stocks for InterGlobe Aviation, the parent company of IndiGo, and SpiceJet saw a decline following a 5.46% increase in domestic aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices, marking the second straight month of hikes. InterGlobe Aviation shares dropped 2.73% to reach ₹5,042.15 on the BSE, while SpiceJet's stock slipped 1.93% to ₹10.12. With this recent adjustment, ATF costs are now approximately 100.5% higher than they were before the Iran conflict.
