Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla introduces BHEEM concept for off-Earth housing
Indian space traveler Shubhanshu Shukla has presented a new design called BHEEM, or Bharatiya Extraterrestrial Expandable Modular Habitat. The project explores methods for humans to reside and function outside of Earth in the coming years. His study looked into various technologies and ideas that might one day sustain human activity on the Moon, Mars, and other deep-space locations. The design features a modular airlock system.
