Indian-origin astronaut Anil Menon has officially started his first space journey, launching from Kazakhstan aboard the Russian Soyuz MS-29 spacecraft. He is heading to the International Space Station (ISS) for an eight-month stay, during which he will perform various research tasks, including AI-guided ultrasound scans. Joining him on the mission are Russian cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov and Anna Kikina.
