On Friday, an attack targeted the motorcade of Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove in the Khad Kocha region of Mastung district. Langove was en route from Kalat to Quetta when the incident occurred and was not injured. Six individuals, among them three police officers, were wounded by gunfire. Langove, who represents the Balochistan Awami Party, assumed his role as the provincial home minister this past March.
