Assam surgeon conducts Sri Lanka's inaugural live robotic surgery
Guwahati-based surgeon Professor Subhash Khanna headed a medical team to perform the first live robotic surgery in Colombo, Sri Lanka. During the workshop conducted by Khanna, approximately 65 surgeons and trainees from the region observed the country's first robot-assisted cholecystectomy. The event also served as the official launch for India's SSI Mantra Surgical Robotic System at the medical facility.
