Assam farmer's son achieves 610 in NEET-UG despite lack of electricity and internet
Bishu Limbu, a farmer's son from Tinsukia, Assam, has managed to secure 610 out of 720 marks in the 2026 NEET-UG examination, despite having no access to electricity or the internet. Limbu spent his evenings preparing for the test by the light of a kerosene lamp. Residing in a home with a leaf roof, he achieved an All India Rank (AIR) of 7,320.
