Assam family's animal rescue featured in Class 10 NCERT textbook
A family in Assam was stunned to discover that their experience rescuing an orphaned Asian palm civet has been included in a Class 10 English textbook by the NCERT. Back in 2009, the family rescued the two-week-old cub after it tumbled from a tree in the Nagaon district. This account of their rescue efforts has officially been added to the NCERT English syllabus for students in the 2024-25 academic year.
