Assam CM in discussions with Aditya Dhar for Lachit Borphukan film
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced in a Facebook Live session that the state administration is currently negotiating with director Aditya Dhar to helm a high-budget biographical film about the Ahom commander Lachit Borphukan. Sarma mentioned that he plans to hold a meeting with Dhar this August. He further noted that if the filmmaker is unable to take on the project, they will reach out to other directors to guarantee the movie gets made.
