Assam administration initiates deportation of man identified as foreign national
Authorities in the Biswanath district of Assam have issued an order to deport Kayam Ansari to Bangladesh. Ansari, taken into custody on May 28, 2025, was officially labeled a foreign national and a citizen of Bangladesh by the Foreigners’ Tribunal. He is presently held at a transit facility. Officials have stated that if he does not follow the order, they will proceed with mandatory deportation measures.
