Arm CEO: AI could cure cancer, but chip scarcity is slowing progress

Rene Haas, the CEO of British semiconductor firm Arm, told the BBC that he is confident AI will assist in finding a cure for cancer within our lifetime. He cautioned, however, that the expansion of AI is currently being hindered by a lack of the chips required to construct data centers. Additionally, Haas forecasted that humanoid robots will see broad adoption within the next five years.
