Apple and Broadcom ink $30 billion agreement for domestic chip production
Apple and Broadcom have entered into a multi-year, $30 billion partnership to develop and manufacture more than 15 billion custom chips within the United States. Under this agreement, Broadcom plans to put $1.5 billion toward growing its production site in Colorado. This represents the biggest financial commitment Apple has made through its American Manufacturing Program, which focuses on strengthening domestic production capabilities.
