Anurag Thakur files privilege motion against Rahul Gandhi over Lok Sabha remarks
BJP lawmaker Anurag Thakur has submitted a notice for breach of privilege and contempt of the House against Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi. Thakur claims that Gandhi used "unparliamentary and insulting language" that was later removed from the records. He also accused Gandhi of making baseless claims against Home Minister Amit Shah without prior notification and straying from the topic of the anti-paper leak bill during the discussion. Thakur is demanding an unconditional apology from Gandhi.
