Ancient Egyptian princesses were skilled in archery and hunting, study finds

According to a report in Frontiers in Environmental Archaeology, royal women in ancient Egypt from 4,000 years ago were buried alongside weapons like maces, daggers, and bows. After examining the skeletal remains of five of these royals, researchers discovered that their bone structures had adapted to accommodate significant muscle exertion. This evidence indicates that these princesses engaged in elite hunting and practiced archery.
