Amundi to net ₹4,400 crore from SBIFM IPO, 15 years after initial investment
European asset management giant Amundi is set to make a profit of approximately ₹4,400 crore on its 15-year-old investment in SBI Funds Management (SBIFM) as the company readies for an initial public offering, according to a Moneycontrol report. Amundi India Holding plans to offload 75.37 million shares, though it will maintain a 32.56% ownership stake. Meanwhile, the primary promoter, SBI, is projected to generate roughly ₹7,370 crore from the offering.
