Amritsar ASI faces probe after driving police van onto train tracks
On Tuesday night, an Assistant Sub-Inspector named Balwinder Singh reportedly steered a PCR police vehicle onto the railway tracks close to the Bhagatanwala crossing in Amritsar. Witnesses claim the officer was intoxicated while behind the wheel, leading him to lose control and veer the vehicle directly onto the tracks. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
