Amit Shah unveils new FCRA 2.0 portal and e-OCI card system
On Tuesday, Home Minister Amit Shah introduced the FCRA 2.0 portal along with the electronic Overseas Citizen of India (e-OCI) card. Shah explained that these updates are designed to resolve issues previously encountered by users receiving funds via the FCRA portal. He further noted that OCI holders will no longer be required to obtain a new booklet whenever they receive a fresh passport after 20 years.
