A US-based startup, Sunday Robotics, has introduced ACT-2, the artificial intelligence system that operates its domestic robot, Memo. According to the company, Memo successfully folded laundry in new environments with an accuracy rate exceeding 99%, even when handling clothing items it had not previously encountered. Sunday Robotics noted that the pretrained model can learn new actions from just one fine-tuning instance, which then apply to various tasks, representing a significant advancement in the field of robotics.
