Allahabad HC allows Atiq Ahmad's sons to attend brother's funeral
On Friday, the Allahabad High Court permitted Ali and Umar, the incarcerated sons of the late gangster and politician Atiq Ahmad, to be released on parole. This will allow them to participate in the funeral of their younger brother, Aban Ahmad, who recently died in a road accident. The burial is scheduled for Saturday morning at the Kasari-Masari cemetery. Currently, Ali is being held at the Jhansi jail, and Umar is detained in the Lucknow jail.
