Akhilesh Yadav says 'P' in PDA also represents Pandit
As part of his efforts to reach out to the Brahmin community ahead of the Uttar Pradesh elections, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav has given a new meaning to his PDA acronym, noting that 'P' now includes 'Pandit'. The PDA slogan was initially created to represent Pichhda (Backward Classes), Dalit, and Alpsankhayak (Minorities). Akhilesh remarked, "Those who lose to PDA keep trying to redefine it. They seem to have overlooked the fact that 'P' also signifies Pandit."
