Air India pilot grounded after failing drug test following mid-air altitude drop
According to a TOI report, the captain of an Air India flight from Phuket to Delhi, which experienced a sudden 300-foot drop over Odisha on August 4, has tested positive for psychoactive substances. The pilot, who is in his 30s, has been temporarily removed from flight duties. Air India stated they had no knowledge of these results. The screening was carried out by Delhi airport personnel under the direction of the AAIB.
