ACB presents Satyendar Jain in court, requests 14-day custody
On Wednesday, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) brought former Delhi water minister and AAP leader Satyendar Jain before a judge, asking for him to be held in judicial custody for 14 days. Jain's lawyer argued that there is no evidence to support the arrest, noting that the case originated in 2024. Meanwhile, AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal claimed that the ACB acted under pressure to carry out the arrest.
