On Tuesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated 300 new electric buses. The event was also attended by Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. CM Rekha noted that with this addition, Delhi's electric bus fleet has reached 4,800, giving the capital the largest public transport network in the country. The launch ceremony took place at Central Park in RK Puram.
