A safe containing cash was carried away by floodwaters in Nepal's Rasuwa district and later discovered near Belkhukhola along the Trishuli River, according to authorities. Local residents who located the container reportedly forced it open and stole the money inside. Following an initial probe, police have taken 29 individuals into custody and successfully retrieved more than 92 lakh Nepalese rupees, equivalent to ₹57.6 lakh, from them.
