Around 40 students residing at a Social Welfare Department hostel in Nandurbar, Maharashtra, became sick following a meal. Out of these, 25 students required hospital admission. District Magistrate Mittali Sethi confirmed that samples of the food and vomit have been sent to a lab to determine what caused the illness. She also noted that the condition of all the affected students is currently stable.
