198 Indian crew members stuck on 9 ships near Strait of Hormuz post-US strikes
Nine tankers flying the Indian flag and transporting LPG and crude oil are currently stuck in the vicinity of the Strait of Hormuz. Movement through the area has almost completely stopped after recent US military actions against Iran. A Bloomberg report indicates that there are approximately 198 Indian sailors aboard these ships. Officials in India are said to be looking into diplomatic channels, such as talking with Iranian authorities, to guarantee the vessels can pass through safely.
