15-year-old girl passes away after 13-year wait for heart surgery at AIIMS
Tanvi, a 15-year-old girl hailing from Kota, Rajasthan, passed away at AIIMS Delhi on Tuesday following a 13-year wait for a heart procedure. She had initially visited the hospital in October 2012. Her father, Mukesh Pariyani, stated that they visited the facility repeatedly and were frequently promised that the surgery would take place. He noted that the hospital staff only continued to conduct various tests.
