15 Bangladeshi nationals held in Bengaluru during Operation Mukta
Bengaluru authorities took 1,909 individuals into custody on Saturday as part of a massive drive against suspected illegal immigrants, confirming that 15 of them were from Bangladesh. According to police reports, these 15 individuals were carrying forged Aadhaar cards that falsely listed West Bengal and Assam as their home states. The mission was carried out by 23 separate police units consisting of 295 officers, focusing on locations including Hebbagodi, Begur, Electronic City, and surrounding neighborhoods.
