Zelenskyy asks Musk to greenlight Starlink-powered drone strikes in Russia
According to a Financial Times report, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is requesting Elon Musk's authorization to utilize Starlink-connected drones. The goal is to identify and target ballistic missile launch sites located as far as 200 km within Russian territory. Musk has historically opposed the deployment of Starlink for these types of military missions. This request follows a surge in Russian missile strikes against Ukraine, coupled with a growing shortage of air-defense interceptors.
