Wild elephant rescued after falling into a well in Kerala's Ernakulam
Forest department officials successfully rescued a wild elephant that had wandered into a residential neighborhood and tumbled into a well in Ernakulam, Kerala. To help the animal escape, rescuers utilized an earthmover to demolish a section of the well and construct a dirt ramp for it to walk out. Although the elephant's tusk appeared to be partially broken, an official noted that the injury was an old one and had already healed.
