Why is MCD Commissioner Sanjeev Khirwar under fire following the Delhi building collapse?

MCD Commissioner Sanjeev Khirwar is under fresh pressure following a building collapse in the Satya Niketan area of Delhi. Khirwar, an IAS officer from the 1994 AGMUT batch, previously gained notoriety in 2022 due to the Thyagraj Stadium row, which led to his transfer to Ladakh. Throughout his career, he has served in various roles at the Centre, as well as in Delhi, Goa, and Arunachal Pradesh.
