Wheat flour, maida, and semolina exports now unrestricted
The government has immediately withdrawn the export bans on wheat flour and related products. Per the latest notifications from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), the export status for wheat items like atta, maida, and semolina (rava/sirgi) has been shifted from 'prohibited' to 'free.' India had previously suspended wheat exports in 2022, with only minor relaxations introduced earlier this year.
